The unique work by Mr. Savethewall, Wallsaved - Baciami ancora is made with mixed media. 

The subject of the work is Mr. Savethewall's iconic frogman, repeated several times on a colourful background. The frogs are dressed in elegant clothes but, despite the anthropomorphic body, the face is that of a frog.

The artist takes the fairy tale of the princess and the frog and questions it in order to show how even well-groomed business attire can hide nothing less than a frog. In fact, above the frogs appears the phrase Baciami ancora (Kiss me again).

In this work, Mr. Savethewall takes over the wall, thus returning to the origins of street art, but at the same time he goes further in that he works on it in his studio, consistent with his aversion to defacing public walls. We can therefore speak of Post Street Art: an evolution of the current that from the street now finds room for expression in works produced in the studio.

MR. SAVETHEWALL

Mr. SaveTheWall is a multi-faceted Italian artist who is becoming really important in the art scene, using the languages of street art and communication to the latest trends of contemporary art. His works represent an interpretation of today's society in an ironic and critical way. As the chosen pseudonym, Mr. Savethewall does not work on the walls .... permanently! In order to safeguard the urban decoration, he use adhesive tape, easily removable, to put his colorful works on the walls. 

As support for his art, Mr. Savethewall uses recyclable and simple materials such as cardboard. His works have strong, direct and targeted messages. A slight irony towards contemporary society allows him to draw inspiration from personalities of culture, cinema and art history; but his works also avoid the touch on the religious and political sphere. Regardless of the chosen support, his works feature strong, direct and targeted messages. In order to make his messages even more immediate, Mr. Savethewall often accompanies the iconographic register with the verbal one.

Famous in all the world is the representation of modern man as a frog that, oppositely to the fairy tale, instead of becoming a price, stay a frog. The work is named KISS ME and it is one of his most popular.

The artwork is delicate and requires a custom-made wooden box to protect it during transport. Delivery to EU countries takes 7-14 business days.

If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.

If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 22% but you will have to pay 7.7% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 22% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).

PAYMENT

If you complete the purchase on the site you can use a credit card, or you can make a bank transfer. Payment in cash is accepted up to 3,000 euros physically in one of our stores. Payments in BitCoin or cryptocurrencies are NOT accepted.
