The first Metaverse dedicated to art

Recently dusted off by Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook (now "Meta"), the metaverse is a complex concept, an evolution of the Internet in which the real world, augmented reality and virtual reality coexist and are interconnected.

While it has so far found application in areas such as fashion, gaming and music, Deodato Island is the first to focus on art. It is a concept that goes beyond the 'simple' virtual exhibition: the metaverse is an immersive world that goes beyond reality and offers a unique and complete experience.

In Deodato Island, in addition to visiting the exhibitions, you can have your own digital identity, a customisable avatar, you can interact and chat with your friends, you can be assisted by the gallery staff, buy a work and even a house!

What will you find at Deodato Island?

Deodato Island offers a variety of constantly developing environments:

  • Exhibition - Mr. Brainwash Spot, dedicated to the editions of the public's favourite street artist.
  • Exhibition - Angelo Accardi Spot, the iconic ostriches and dreamlike, surreal paintings by artist Angelo Accardi.
  • Museum Planet, the museum environment with showrooms and exhibition spaces for curatorial projects by the Deodato Arte gallery. Ongoing exhibitions:
    • Marco Glaviano. Volto di donna, the seductive and delicate shots of the photographer who revolutionised the image of women.
  • Deodato Warehouse, the first virtual "warehouse" where you can browse the works available in the gallery from the comfort of your own home and meet the Deodato Arte staff. A behind-the-scenes experience that allows you to choose and personalise the work you like best.
  • Demo City, a city (under construction) in the Metaverse in a picturesque Caribbean location. Users will be able to visit flats and villas in VR, buy them and furnish them to their liking.
  • Auditorium, a conference and event space in the Deodato Island metaverse.

Stay Tuned! The Metaverse is constantly expanding, don't miss the next Deodato Island news and developments.
