My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut

David Kracov - My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut - Signed

Splendid work by David Kracov, My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut is a limited edition on paper.

The artist used the papercut technique through which scraps of paper are overlapped on three layers. Thus he creates the colorful heart protagonist of this work, composed by many small butterflies, each one with a different color and shape.

Recurring trademark of artist’s production, the butterfly features in several other works as in the well known sculpture by David Kracov, Book of Life.

In My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut shapes and colors are combined in this balanced and suggestive composition by David Kracov, artist who is always able to impress the viewer.

The work comes in a limited edition of 100, signed and numbered in original, and measures 35x38 cm.

Analysis and Meaning of the Artwork by David Kracov My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut

The work My Heart Is All a Flutter Papercut has been described by the artist as “one of my most personal pieces I have ever created”.

The serigraphy conveys energy and positivity, but nevertheless Kracov didn’t reveal the meaning of the work. He prefers to let the viewer engage in a spontaneous dialogue with My Heart Is All a Flutter and “see it as an extension of themselves”, quoting the artist himself.

The interpretation is not always the same and it changes depending on the viewer. This subjective feature is one of the most fascinating sides of David Kracov's works.
