Eden

This work is part of a folder named Ballerinas containing 2 sericollages. In this case Lodola represents the outline of a ballerina of classical dance holding an apple, symbol of the expulsion from Eden of Adam and Eve after having disobeyed and eaten the apple of sin. In particular this work is drawn by the sculpture exposed once in the balcony of Mondadori in MIlan. This subject is also present in two beatiful light sculptures, Eden and Green Apple.

Handmade sericollage signed and numbered in original by the artist. Limited edition in 75 exemplars on transparent PVC.

Marco Lodola

Marco Lodola was born in 1955 in Pavia. He attended the Fine Arts Academy of Florence and Milan. His career started at the beginnings of the 80s, close to the New Futurism trend, a movement created by Renato Barilli, and then he began to expose in all the world (Italy, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York). He has collaborated with important musicians such as Max Pezzali and Jovanotti and he made scenic designs for cinema, television and theatre.

Marco Lodola is internationally famous, very appreciated for his unique Pop style that combines art, music, cinema and design. His artworks, in particular his luminous sculptures made with perspex and neon, are characterised by vivid colours and well known subjects, such as Pin Ups, Scooters, cars, sport, and famous people.

This work has no frame so it will be protected with a rigid supports and shipped very quickly in one day from payment. If the shipment is outside EU it is necessary to prepare an export documentation: that can take up to a week of time. We will pay for the shipment if we lose or damage it!

If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.

If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 22% but you will have to pay 7.7% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 22% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).

PAYMENT

If you complete the purchase on the site you can use a credit card, or you can make a bank transfer. Payment in cash is accepted up to 3,000 euros physically in one of our stores. Payments in BitCoin or cryptocurrencies are NOT accepted.
