Wild Kong by Richard Orlinski arrives at Fidenza Village: contemporary art and lifestyle in dialogue

Starting May 5, 2026, Fidenza Village welcomes a new monumental presence destined to capture attention and redefine the experience of urban space: Wild Kong by Richard Orlinski. The renowned three-meter-high red resin sculpture officially joins the Village’s artistic journey through a collaboration with Deodato Arte, further reinforcing the destination’s identity as an authentic open-air museum.
Already featured during Milan Design Week as part of the exhibition-event INTERNI MATERIAE, Orlinski’s iconic gorilla now arrives at the heart of one of Italy’s most dynamic destinations for experiential luxury, where art, design, fashion, and culture coexist within an immersive narrative.
Fidenza Village: an open-air museum
With 29 permanent works including murals, installations, and sculptures, Fidenza Village stands out today as one of Italy’s most innovative realities in the dialogue between contemporary art and retail experience. Walking through the boutiques means encountering artworks and artistic interventions capable of transforming shopping into a cultural experience.
The Village’s creative project, developed through the concept The Stage of Creativity, has over the years involved leading figures from contemporary Street and Pop Art, together with designers, creatives, and international cultural realities, transforming the Village into a place of artistic experimentation and dialogue between different languages.
Within this context, the arrival of Wild Kong represents a new element in the construction of a widespread artistic landscape capable of surprising visitors beyond the traditional spaces of art.
Wild Kong: Richard Orlinski’s vision of primal energy
Richard Orlinski is among the most internationally recognized contemporary French artists. Since 2015, he has been the world’s best-selling contemporary French artist, and his works have been exhibited in more than 200 galleries and iconic venues such as Art Basel, FIAC, and the Palace of Versailles.
His visual language combines cubist-inspired geometries, luminous surfaces, and pop imagery, giving life to instantly recognizable sculptures. Totemic animals, symbols of strength and instinct, become the protagonists of an aesthetic that merges art, design, and lifestyle.
Wild Kong belongs to the Born Wild series, a central project in the artist’s research celebrating authenticity and the primal strength present within every individual. The work thus becomes the perfect metaphor for the contemporary experience offered by Fidenza Village: a space where identity, creativity, and freedom of expression meet.
As Orlinski himself states:
“Italy has always been a great source of inspiration for me. At Fidenza Village, my sculptures come to life in an open space where they engage in dialogue with Italian culture and design, becoming part of the landscape and inviting visitors to experience art in a spontaneous and emotional way.”
Deodato Arte and projects between art and brand experience
The collaboration with Fidenza Village confirms Deodato Arte’s role as an international partner in developing projects that connect contemporary art, brands, and experiential spaces.
With strong expertise in contemporary Pop and Street Art, Deodato Arte develops tailor-made initiatives capable of enhancing international artists within innovative contexts and highly visible cultural environments.
The arrival of Wild Kong at Fidenza Village is not simply an artistic installation: it is a concrete example of how contemporary art can transform everyday spaces into places of discovery, connection, and emotion. For brands, companies, and organizations seeking to create distinctive cultural projects, Deodato Arte offers bespoke paths capable of combining artistic vision, brand identity, and experiential impact.
