Tvboy for Mamacita at Pacha Ibiza: urban art, music and pop imagery

Tvboy for Mamacita at Pacha Ibiza: urban art, music and pop imagery

Tvboy, one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary Pop and Street Art, collaborates with Mamacita for three special nights at Pacha Ibiza, creating an original iconography dedicated to the featured guest artists: 50 Cent, international hip-hop icon, Nicky Jam and Beéle.

Through his direct and instantly recognizable visual language, the artist transforms the announcement of the events into an autonomous visual project. The images do not simply communicate the nights, but build an imagery capable of connecting music, urban culture and pop language.

The event becomes an image

For the project at Pacha Ibiza, Tvboy works on the visual identity of the three nights by reinterpreting the guest artists through his own style. The visuals dedicated to 50 Cent, Nicky Jam and Beéle accompany the announcement of the events and translate their atmosphere into an immediate visual form, designed to capture attention and remain memorable.

The result is a form of communication that takes on an artistic dimension: each image becomes part of the event’s narrative, a recognizable sign that combines the power of the pop icon with the spontaneity of urban language.

A project between art and visual communication

The collaboration between Tvboy and Mamacita at Pacha Ibiza shows how the language of art can naturally enter different contexts without losing its identity. In this case, the visual accompanies the event and helps define its character, transforming communication into an integral part of the experience.

With his recognizable pop style, Tvboy signs a project that brings urban art, music and visual communication into dialogue, offering a contemporary interpretation of the three Mamacita nights at Pacha Ibiza.

Who is Tvboy: style and poetics

Tvboy, the pseudonym of Salvatore Benintende, is an Italian street artist and exponent of the NeoPop movement. Born in Palermo in 1980 and raised between Novate Milanese and Milan, he began his journey in urban art in 1996 with graffiti, lettering and stencil work. His name comes from the character “Tvboy”, a cartoon-style alter ego with his face inside a television screen, a symbol of mass culture and the influence of media on younger generations.

His research combines Pop Art and Street Art through direct, ironic and accessible images, often built around icons of the collective imagination. Politicians, musicians, actors, athletes and figures from popular culture become the protagonists of provocative works, capable of generating visual short circuits and unexpected interpretations of current events.

Influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring and Mario Schifano, Tvboy works on the border between urban art, communication and pop culture. His poetics are based on the power of the recognizable image: an immediate, contemporary and satirical language, capable of speaking to a wide audience without losing artistic intensity.
