Tvboy - A second Reinassance - Lithograph

Lithograph on paper by street artist Tvboy, A second Reinassance depicts an unusual couple formed by painter, architect and scientist Leonardo da Vinci and the Mona Lisa, his most famous painting.

Sunglasses, tattoos, a mask in his hand and a smartwatch on his wrist: Leonardo looks “contemporary”, as if he was living in our time. As well as the Mona Lisa in a jeans jacket and with a fashionable hat. Tvboy reinterprets an icon of Renaissance art in a "second renaissance" under the banner of street art, as suggested by the background featuring tags and graffiti.

A second Reinassance is a lithograph on archival paper with a special glossy varnish effect. The work is in a limited edition of 99 pieces hand-signed and numbered, measuring 70x70 cm.

A second Reinassance is iconic and representative of Tvboy's style and poetics, and it was also chosen as the cover for the official catalogue of the solo exhibition held at Mudec in Milan in 2021-22.
