Tomoko Nagao: Vectorial Art on Paper

In this subcategory there are the paintings on paper by Tomoko Nagao. The artist stands out in the contemporary scene for her aesthetics and her highly representative philosophy. Through her artwork the artist presented, quotes and rereads classical art.

Tomoko Nagao contaminates the best-known Renaissance and seventeenth-century iconographies with Pop contemporary culture, incorporating international products and brands through which it moves a subtle, ironic and criticism of the society of today.

Her works become an allegory of an era, that of globalisation, lightened by the aesthetic of Japanese Kawaii, according to which every single element is represented in a pure, simple, and lovely way.
